Firstly I don't do Religion or Politics.
All I would ask is perhaps just once it would be nice to do something for no personal reward other than to help. It can be anything, pay for someone's coffee or help an old person across a road, when you see a homeless person buy them a pie or just say Hi. It's called Pay it forward. I have been homeless and sometimes someone just noticing your alive means something. We have a Pound bakery here and you get 2 for a £1 so that will make 2 peoples day that bit more normal. As I say it doesn't have to be someone down on their luck just ask the person you do this for to Pay it Forward to someone else. I don't do it all the time however now and then why not and I am going to try Harder as I have a load of crap I don't need...peace \m/

    Laudable sentiments Mr M. :)

There is a community cafe in Brighton I use where you can "buy" a coffee or a cake or whatever for someone you don't know.

I do a day a week in the charity warehouse of a local hospice and although I'm normally wrecked after a day of shifting beds and wardrobes it's a worthwhile way of giving something back.

Acts of Random Kindness - this is my mantra. Why wouldn't you want to do something nice or kind for someone else?

An old spiritual thingy I learned many years whilst "on the way back" myself. "Do good feel good, do bad feel awful". Came out of the mouth of a Canadian Lumberjack. Nothing to do with religion or politics as yer say. Simple is best as always.

I helped a blind bloke across the road the other day , but then I had to take him back because it turned out he wanted to go in the shop he was stood outside of & didnt want to cross the road at all , he had just got disorientated & was facing the wrong way . Guess I should have asked him really :(
