Oooh, that Shoei Neotech is pretty much tailor-made for the Crystal White Speedy! Carbon and everything. :)

I'll be eager to read you review, Steve! I did talk to one woman I sometimes ride with who has a helmet with the Airfit system and she loves it. I'm lucky that my noggin is very average--intermediate oval in a size medium. Gives me lots of choices. Well, on second thought, maybe that's not so good. I think I have eight helmets now?!

Hahaha, Billy! Sounds like your Missus and I would get along famously. :D My penchant for fashion isn't only motorcycle-related.......

I’ve got one of those lids too, signed by the man himself :grinning:

had to retire it as it’s a 2006 lid.
I think new one is a good match to my R.

The Speed is a lot easier to ride than that Tuono, could lift the front wheel as soon as you pulled away!

What year was it? Yeah traction control plays a huge roll it that. I took off all the traction control to give it a go and it was easy to have the front end in the air all the time :p. The back tire was a little loose as well, not the most reassuring at times. Now I like to have it in rider mode with traction set to track, this seems to be the most entertaining with some security in case I’m a complete knob.

That needs to be hanging on the wall to be admired.

A 2007 with a Power Commander 3 and a custom map and 1 tooth smaller front sprocket. Would sometimes even do it of a crest in 4th gear.

I also like how this era of Tuono is naked. I don’t like the partial fairing on the new bikes. But then I like everything naked, it’s much better that way :p

Well, yes, everything is better naked---except for when those bugs and rocks hit you at 80mph!:scream:
