Bought one of these things. Can see how it works and think it will be a godsend on a long trip taking the strain off my wrist. But i can also see it may be dangerous. How could i shut the throttle down fast if needed? Do you use one and what are your thoughts about these? Can't see what help this would have on an electric car.
Its just a way to hold the throttle with your wrist, to rest your fingers. Move your wrist and the throttle springs closed. I think it must have been auto translated by gogle.
When you remove the wrists, you have to remove your fingers off the grip as well. My hands, glove size L are too wide to hold the grips safety with this thingy fitted on. Yet another £2.14 in the bin.
I used one of these, I should have bought this one cos the plastic stretched and it couldnt grip the throttle any more.
Years ago i had an ex Kent police R80RT which had a small sprung thumb wheel fitted into the throttle housing. Simple idea. You could set it gently only just gripping the throttle cable wheel but shut it off easily.
I have used one of these on my thunderbird and previous bikes, they are brilliant on long runs. Never had any problems with it. Wessa

I’ve been running these for well over a year / 9000 miles now. Wouldn’t be without them. Becomes second nature to swing the throttle one away from you so it’s out of the way whilst bimbling around town etc. Helps enormously with pins & needles, especially on a cafe racer.
I get pins & needles in both hands, long rides with body weight on the palms of your hands causes this problem. These allow you to use the heel of your hand when you feel you need to, such a simple solution to a very common problem

And to reply to both gizmos, the first on is called Cramp Buster and it does work. The second one i also have, bought it many years ago from the Asian guy who first invented it. It was a prototype and really worked. Alas, i have no ides where either is now. I play a lot of racquetball and my wrist never gets cramped or tired.
