Yes but mostly Johnson fresh water Crocs, there are saltwater crocodile's too but they are captured and taken away , some are released nearer the coast, others are kept for breeding at crocodile farms.

    Cheers Mick Brenda capt

There was a new Interceptor at my local bike meet. Looked a nice retro machine, it’s just a shame that they’re incapable of pulling the skin off a rice pudding :joy:

Check the gearbox is to your taste.
An informed individual told me the new 650 box is good but the 500 was terrible.
Make of that what you will but just saying so you can focus on this issue more.

The roads to the above are great but not everyone likes Triumphs :worried:

Not a very hospitable place for a campsite and this is summer time.

A bit of supper before bed.

Watching x5 Red deer quite close, they were comfortable at 300 metres or so and I was content just sitting and watching. The bottle of cider had obviously got shook up in the tank bag. Struggled with the top and suddenly a LOUD POP!
Deer went into hyper drive and see yah :joy:

Worth knowing for anyone travelling through the area.
Blair Atholl has a CARD ONLY 24 hour fuel pump.

The choices around that area seem very limited so worth noting. Ignore the prices as it's a quirky of the camera and digital display speed. They were reasonable something like £1.32 ltr

Blair Atholl has a working water wheel flour mill and cafe. Well worth a visit with lovely fresh bread and nice coffee.

The bikes above the beach slightly right of centre.

Thanks to Dougie D I think who made me aware of this spot on one of his posts :p

Five days run around with very mixed weather. Riding like this I don't care how much fuel it uses but out of curiosity zeroed the trip meter before setting off. 56.7 mpg over 1008 miles. Very varied use from 6th gear eco cruise at 3k desperate for a fuel station to shall we say spirited riding hitting the rev limiter on one occasion getting carried away

Not the bike but for the ride, got these new Bates Bomber riding boots in the post today. Super comfy, light, and should last a good while. A2A0C745-F168-44CF-BD19-B41F3B636FED.jpeg 73FA50E0-7DD2-4D18-AF2B-E73BBF880C30.jpeg

Went to the Black Dub to watch the races.
First race I watch and it's was a race victory for Peter Hickman on the Supersport 675 Triumph!

The one I tried shook like a wet dog chittering when I got it over 40.

It belonged to a guy who was running tours of the far north, he was selling it as the business wasn't doing well, so it wasn't low mileage. Been well enough maintained, but I just couldn't get on with it at all. Might just have been that particular bike, but after 5 minutes at 50 I had numb hands. And a square derriere. The only thing I would say is give it a good test ride before you buy. Half an hour minimum, and get it up to speed.
