My 15 year old Oxford charger has given up the ghost. Been reliable till now. Can you recommend a new charger?. Don't have to be fancy. Would prefer if you comment on the charger you own and not just hearsay.

I’ve got an Oxford 900 that the missus got free with her 125 a few years ago.
They’re cheap to buy (if you don’t get it free) and will monitor, trickle charge and bulk charge a variety of batteries (wet, gel,AGM)
It’s been faultless and I’ve only had to buy a lead for a permanent connection on the Triumph.

I've got two Datatool battery maintainers and I can't fault them. Been using them for years, never let me down and do exactly what they say they should :cool:

I use a Deltran. Small, water resistant, smart chip equipped and affordable. I have used this one for over 10yrs and no matter what I ride, It's the first accessory to be added!

I got rid of my Oxford charger and bought a CTEK MXS 5.0 from Amazon, as it works on car AND motorcycle batteries. Saved me having separate chargers. Can fault the CTEK and comes with its own link lead.

I've got an Oxford oximiser jobbie, works fine but the connectors they use are naff and the pins regularly fall out, replaced with some different ones and no issues now

Mine is an Optimate. I’ve liked it. Seems to do the job.

    I’m assuming it’s not a lithium battery?
