Hello everybody, Just picked up a lovely new Street Cup on Friday. After much deliberation and passing my test in February I finally own a motorbike. Just running in at the moment so not going over 4k revs. Goes like a dream she does, looks gorgeous and sounds great. Sorry for the lack of photos, will post some soon! Have swapped the Street Cup bars for the Street Twin ones. The dealer did offer to change the pipes for me. He started a bike up so I could hear the difference. The first bike sounded amazing (to me) then he told me that was MY bike (stock exhaust)! Then he started the other one with the suggested exhaust modification and it was deafening so I kept the stock ones. Will be making a couple of changes along the way; lights, tail tidy, seat... I wouldn't mind changing the pipes but not just for volume - I just saw some that I liked the look of (I will attach photo) maybe you know what they are. Just ordered the JDC ultimate rain waterproof motorcycle cover in a medium (hope it fits) and need to get a lock. I was told that there is a D lock that Triumph do that comes with a kit that installs it into the bike frame £30 for the kit and £100 plus for the lock. Wondered what your thoughts were on locks and which type you'd suggest. Cheers for now.
Welcome Holtee and congrats on the new bike. Sounds like you’re going to be keeping her outside? Make sure you keep on top of the maintenance, bikes don’t really like living outside in the UK and can deteriorate quickly
Thank you Freck. No, I have just got a garage and bought the cover for when I'm out and have to leave her for any length of time. I'll be covering her in the garage too.
