Hi, just joined site the other day after purchasing my first Triumph last week (long overdue), bought the new Speed Twin, absolutely loving her already. Just got her past the first 300 miles today and was able to open her up a little bit more afterwards can't wait til she's fully run in!!!!

Welcome to the family. We need a picture of the steed to calm us all down so nursey can administer our meds.

Welcome fellow speed twin owner! Just took mine over 700 miles, and the bike just keeps getting better! If you haven’t considered doing the x-pipe, DO IT, definitely worth it!!!

Thank you MTB, yes I watched the tecbike video on you tube and that x pipe certainly seems to make a difference, the guy says it smooths things out and releases a good few more horses, how difficult is it to fit?

I actually had the dealership do mine during the first service. I’m told it’s kind of a pain in the ass...

Hi Andy seems you were right with the pitch, measured as you suggested and looks like the size is M8x10 but with a 1mm pitch, had a quick look and seems fairly difficult to get as a general sized cap bolt, might have to just buy the actual Triumph ones, thanks again
