Long Shot Need A Belt For My Vax..any Vacuum Sales Reps?

    I'm needing a belt for my Vax carpet cleaner model W85-PP-T Vax Dual Power Pro
    it's not that old..maybe 4/5 years but Vax do not have spares for them.does anyone know where I can get a belt for it the size is 12.8 inches long or 33mm if you are young! the width is 1/2" or 12mm.otherwise it will mean having to buy a new one

    Nobody is going to buy that, the belt should be less than a fiver! i'll phone some places tomorrow, as looking online it's saying it's discontinued ,but you would have thought you would be able to get the same size but from a different manufacturer

    Cheers Andy just bought the one from Amazon in the US, did have a look at some UK sites for it but no luck..i'm not going to look anymore in case I see one for a couple of quid!

    Bloke on Wycombe market usually on a Saturday sells parts. Get the bags for my old Vax cylinder unit from him - gets used as a "shop vac" now. He can get all of the hoses and belts I've ever needed for our Dyson at web prices. Useful chap.

    Not trying to be pedantic but 12.8 inches is not 33mm!

    33 centimetres maybe :p
