I am the proud owner of two Triumph's. A Triumph Explorer XC and a Tiger 955i. I also own 3 Suzuki's and a Honda. Guess I love my motorbikes and have an understanding wife. I found this forum as I have charging issues with the Tiger. I put in a new generator and rectifier 2 weeks ago along with a new battery 5 weeks ago. I fired her up and she started superbly. Job done. I then went to work on her the next day and it was back to running on battery alone. None of the fuses have blown so I am at a bit of a loss. Any advice? TIA, Paul.
Welcome to the madhouse you should fit right in. To keep the inmates happy we will need photos Tucker
Hi Paul And Welcome to the Forum. Can’t help I am afraid as electrics are not my strong point, but hopefully someone will have the answer.
Good morning Paul and welcome aboard. I believe I would get my manual and check the output of both your new stator and then the rectifier. I'm betting it's something simple. Good luck and keep us posted on your results.
Timmy, hank you. I must be mega happy as I've got 6 bikes and a very understanding wife who also rides a bike. Bonus.
That’s the key thing to having many bikes. Luckily I’m in the same situation. Welcome to the forum Paul. Have you some pics of your fleet? We like piccies.
Paul J Hallam. Welcome to the Family. Sounds like you have a great collection there. Yes we would like some piccies of the beasties. Charging I am not any good at. Have you checked all your connections no broken wires or wires shorting to earth periodically. Ride Safe & Enjoy Joe.
