    Hi all,
Today’s a great day as I’ve just finished fitting a sw motech rack and givi v56 top box!
Yes, not everyone’s bag I know but as I like camping, perfect as no scratched paint!
I also was worried that it wouldn’t fit well with the evotech kit but it was fine.
Although, a bit of a head scratcher to get it past the indicators but all good. All in, 45 mins. 16mm wood drill bit required (says cone bit but as it’s plastic, it’s fine). Went through a company called winding roads limited in Derbyshire, Uk.
    Excellent help from them!

    Does the Springer approve? :)

That fits well. Will it effect handling when it's loaded up?

    Probably! Unfortunately!
But it’s no worse than having a light passenger on and a couple of turns anti-clockwise on the rear. But tbh, 15kgs isn’t worth it.
No idea on handling BUT (I presume...) you can take a busa to 150 with one....
    Ps, she can’t wait!

Be careful about how much weight you put in the box as it is a long way past the rear axle. My '69 Bonneville did an excellent line in tank slappers if I put too much weight on the rear carrier - fortunately only at low speed. Totally different machines I know, but trial and error will be the way to go in my opinion. You may have no problems at all with what you want to carry - hopefully. Good luck but take care!

Thanks for the info and I’m off for it’s first run out tomorrow morning to sunny hunny!
However, not putting much in it as it’s just as you have recommended, to see what’s going to be changing.
I really appreciate the information kind sir!

    Hi Ducatitotriumph,

I don’t know if you’re still posting on here and I see this thread is a few years old…… But would really value your experiences with the SW Motech street rack plus top box on a your Speed Triple. Was it solid & secure over time? Did it affect handling? I’m fed up with soft luggage and I’d like to fit a removable top box for weekends away, but worried about downsides. Anyone else have any experiences?
