Well after a long wait my Speed Twin arrived today. The sound from the V&H pipes is awesome both under load and on the overrun. and I fitted the screen that @andyc1 sold me, just sets off the front end.. Really enjoyed the ride home and can't wait for tomorrow to get in a good long ride. It is booked in for its first service on 30th May, so plenty of time to get the required 500 miles ..... A very happy Wessa PS: I have taken the stickers off the bike....
Wessa. Great looking machine. Still got that big grin on you face I bet. But don't worry as Triumph and nursey are working on a fix for it. Ride Safe Joe.
Don’t suppose you went to St Anne’s bike night tonight did you Wessa? Could have sworn that I saw you on the new bike heading that way Lovely bike BTW.
Nope I had to pick the wife up early this evening, and then I spent time in the garage fitting the screen and polishing the bike.
Congratulations Wessa, the wait is over. Good looking ride. Stickers done, do these come with all the assembly blue dots? I find new ones each time I dismantle something
Lovely looking bike Wezza, enjoy mate, some decent weather on the way too . Looking forward to some more photos during your running in rides.
First proper ride out today. filled up and ran for 120 miles today. There is 51 miles showing on the trip, which is looking like circa 150 miles between fills. I might be a little less once it is run in, although I was riding around 65 to 70 (reving at circa 3600 to 4000 rpm) during large parts of my ride.. Total on the clock is now 150 miles, so only 350 to first service when I get back from holiday. Wessa
Here are a few pictures from my ride... I went over to the Ponderosa cafe at the top of the Horseshoe Pass via Chester, from there onto Shrewsbury, Ellesmere (A495 one of my favorite roads) to Whitchurch and up the A49 to J&S Motorcycle superstore in Delamere to home. Somewhere on the A49 near Whitchurh.. and J&S in Delamere for a cuppa before heading home.
Looks nice. Like the look of the seat. Quite fancy that one myself, is it comfy? Booked mine in for the first service but only 250 to do. Enjoy.
