Sc Project S1 Gp Exhaust Arrived

So my exhaust turned up yesterday.
Initial impressions are that this is a very good quality bit of kit.
Will post some pics once it’s fitted but for now here is what I received in the kit :

Is that lettering on the end of the can and visible ? Looks great by the way

 

The markings are on the end that connects to the link pipe, no markings on the exhaust tip end.

What's your opinion on noise levels, considering swapping my Arrows on my rs for the SC

 

Approximately how long from ordering to delivery was it from SC?

Just ordered tonight, I was deciding between the sc and Austin racing but was always leaning towards the sc

They state up to 15 working days for delivery but mine turned up less than a week after ordering so pretty quick

My bike arrives on Friday so I’ll hopefully be fitting it over the weekend.
Will post up first impressions on performance and noise levels once it’s on !

 

Ordered mine yesterday and the email said upto 15 working days but im guessing it will be sent out in the next couple of days so i will fit it probably at the weekend if its here. i did look at others but the S1 GP looks the best quality for the money. Looking forward to it, big weight saving which is a bonus.

 

You should ride it for a week or so to get a feel for it, then swap to the single low can to feel if there is any handling benefit from the weight saving.

 

You may end up getting yours fitted before me !!
Agree on the weight saving, between the exhausts and losing the pillion pegs I should drop 8-9 kg which is significant.

 

It’s a good point, the challenge will be resisting the temptation to fit the shiny new exhaust and find out what it sounds like !
Hopefully I can pack in a good number of miles over Friday and Saturday to get a feel for it and then fit the SC on Sunday.....

 

I fitted an SC to my fireblade a couple of years ago and the weight saving is worth it. Going to BSB on Sat so if its arrived I will fit it Sunday for a BSB run on Monday.. Fingers crossed

 

Tracking says arriving Thursday, so that's 4 working days turn around which will be excellent. It it arrives on time I will fit it for the weekend

 

Dammit - My bike is due Friday so I think you are going to beat me to it !!

If you do fit it over the weekend it would be great if you could post up some pics and tips regarding fitting
