Only f’ing 24 hrs? That money we gave the ferry company, it was meant to have been a week!!

 

Yeah I’m still going to Heysham just 24hrs later.....it’s no biggy just a bit inconvenient that’s all
Was gonna use Sunday to remove the top box scaffolding and fit the tow bar to NUDGER ready for the into the valley rally next weekend
Will do this during the week now after work
The weather looks vastly improved for tomorrow so I suppose every cloud has a silver lining
+ I was not looking forward to getting out of Liverpool

 

Stop press - There is expected to be a shortage of Jack Daniels on the Isle of Man due ferries not running & an unexpected rise in demand over the past few days!

 

Get off the Ferry and ride like the wind Dilli, don't be stopping in Liverpool or yer Nudger might be in danger ....... other stereotypes are available!

 

Well I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed our little jaunt to the Isle of Man
NUDGER performed admirably
That 1200 engine is as strong as an Ox performed just the same as if I was riding by myself
Wor lass said it was fine on the back but thinks she might struggle to go much further
I wasn’t hanging about and with a passenger and luggage probably got the tank range down to about 110miles
The fuel guage said I had 17 miles to go and it was only 14 miles to home
Pointless risking it so I pulled over for fuel and it means I’m already fuelled for next Fridays rally
Wor lass wanted a picture to show her friends at work so I thought I’d share it with you lot

 

Glad you are back at last and safe, looks like you had a great time; enjoy tonight at home as I guess its back to work tomorrow?

 

Thanks for sharing, and the panniers look great, could have been made for the bike... wait .. they were.

Absolutely knackered now after getting up early twice for the ferry
Bloody coach full of old biddies chucked it’s oil on the ramp this morning so the ferry had to move to the other dock
Delayed for a Feckin hour and a half
Gotta be up early for Feckin work tomorrow
But all in all a brilliant trip
