What is your first impression; how did it perform in the wind?

Was ok although I have an open face helmet and the wind was beginning to make my eyes water. Found the throttle a bit jerky like it was running out of petrol but otherwise it was just about me figuring out where everything is on the bike.

I will take it out for a spin tomorrow and find somewhere nice to take some shots. Been spending the last hour showing my son all the bits and pieces on it.

What mode were you using. They reakon in rain mode in town smooths out the throttle response.

Up at the crack of dawn (well 8 o'clock actually) down into town and a few pics of the beast.Unfortunately when I got a phone call from the dealership yesterday although the bike was pidded the extras that I had wanted fitted had not arrived so I opted to take the bike as is and take it back in when the bits arrive. Bits are: heated grips, alarm, D-lock , black throttle body cover and clutch plate.

Looking good and the photo is great. Quite good as having just picked it up I thought it would take some time before you got of it to take a picture. How's the grin on your Face. Triumph and Nursey are working on a fix for it. Some peeps are saying it gets uncomfortable when people are staring and thinking he's got a new Triumph.
    Ride Safe & Enjoy.

That's what they suggested although it might be some time before I clock up 500 miles, we'll see. Main reason I wanted it was to measure what the circumference around the engine was so I could order the right length of Almax chain for the garage.

Certainly had some curious looks from passers by as I was taking the photos. Been 23 years since I have ridden a bike so I am definitely taking it slow at the moment and just figuring out where the controls are without having to look down all the time. Got to break the motor in now over the next 1000 miles so no going over 4000 rpm for the moment.

    V nice bike indeed!

As a bench mark, it took Tigger about a week to break the 500 mile mark - a trip to Herefordshire, regularly getting lost on the trip back from the office (normally 10m each way but significantly further on the bike - often via the coast - which isn't even remotely on the way home...) plus a weekend of ride outs with the neighbours made it possible. My face really hurt from all the grinning - I looked like the Joker... I think the dealership were a little surprised to have Tigger back so soon.

Anyone else noticed that there are a few more accessories listed on the Speed Twin configurator list, namely security items?
