    Hello all,

My names Tim, I have today purchased my first Triumph, a 2003 Triumph Daytona 600, will only 1,500 miles on the clock. What things if any, must I know about these bikes?

    Thanks all

    Hi and welcome.

Hopefully we get a decent summer and you can put some miles on it.

Think you should give it a good run ad see how it goes when its hot and the fan kicks in, usually shows if you got any problems.

Hope not though very smart looking bike

Did a 75 mile outing yesterday, temp got to 103c in slow traffic, but other than that it seemed to be happy, manual States high temps are 120c and switch engine off sort of temps are 129c.

Hopefully it's good, seems to be, I'm really happy. Totally different to all bikes I've had before, it just handles so well, I'm loving it.

Yep 12 years and apparently been kept in a well heated garage doing nothing lol, what's the point?
Each to their own, well at least thanks to the previous owner I now have a practically new bike. Going in next month for a full service and check over at Woods motorcycles in Abergele.
