I ordered a red one last week, Pure Triumph Woburn said expected mid May. There has been a recall on the first batch because a coolant tube was misrouted so it touches exhaust, this could be causing delay.

Dropped in on my dealer yesterday, reckons the batch I'm waiting for should be landed and at the factory on 25th |April. Should have mine before 1st May.

Yep for sure. I can quote most if not all of the bike stats and all the different views of the reviewers.... stopped watching them a week or so ago.. will soon be able to make my own mind up about the bike.

Had a road test on a new speed twin yesterday and that sealed the deal. To be honest i have been in love with the grey one ever since i saw it in the showroom and it goes as well as it looks.
For those of us short in the leg its perfect too. 29.5 inside leg and when i stop and put my foot down its flat which is a welcome change from the norm. Also i couldn't believe how light and nimble the bike feels which is another bonus as far as i`m concerned and great for us who are vertically challenged.
There is currently a 3 month waiting time so that`s a right pain but should make the satisfaction even greater when it does arrive.
Loads of grunt, loads of smiles per miles and handles really sweetly. As a twin with the 270 degree crank it does have lots of character too which is a welcome change from my inline 4 cyl bike.
You definitely need to be in the right gear at lower speeds and the suspension does bobble a bit over the bumps as its quite firm but this is all part of what is in my opinion a good compromise for the way it handles at speed on fast flowing bends.
As i sat in the dealership i contemplated on my old 2010 bonneville that i had from new and sold in 2013. To buy that bike today would cost in the region of 5k which is more than i sold it for.
Life is for living folks and rest assured in 5 years time you will have lost no money and had a great bike to enjoy.

Hope my views are helpful to anyone who reads this post and get those road tests booked in and see for yourself.

If that’s the case why don’t they send the bikes to the dealer with instructions to reroute the coolant pipe as part of the PDI. Or are they riding the damn things from Thailand to save shipping costs.

Took this for a spin and really enjoyed it, quick steering and light handling compared to my Speed Triple, it felt half the size! Quite a punchy engine too but exhausting on the motorway, but I guess that’s no surprise. Front brakes were squeaky but that could just be this one. Nice bike, but keeping my Speedy for now, even though the £3.5 k trade in offer was a bit less than tempting! ☹️
