    Yes, I am still around.

Even though not posting too much recently. Sorry, but sometimes your life gets turned a little upside down and you start to lose touch with the threads that actually keep it going or make it worthwhile...

Anyway: I still own and love and ride my Fat Bob and I really can find no fault with this machine. You can throw it into corners as if it were only half the weight, the acceleration is phenomenal and the suspension
the best, I ever had... (Yes, I am actually talking Harley Davidson :p)

Newest update: after being quite reluctant I finally chose to get the tail-tidy plate holder...

Looks even fatter now, don’t you think? It is also 15cm shorter and about 1.5 kgs lighter (the latter making no big difference, I guess).
Haven’t ridden it in rainy weather and might be in for water/muck spraying my neck.
    So what? :D

Enjoy your rides everyone and many greetings...

    Daniel

Great looking bike! Nice tail tidy too. I have two Harleys in addition to my Speed Triple and have test ridden the Fat Bob 2018/19 model) a couple of times. I really like it! If I were to consider trading my Dyna, I'd probably go for the Fat Bob. But, sigh, I love my Low Rider S and am currently on the "replacement" method of bike purchases. Have fun with that awesome bike!

Winlad. Nice beast. One point you say you are throwing it into corners so just wondered why your rear tyre is squaring of in the middle and not the edges.
    Ride Safe
    Joe.

    Hi Joe,
what you foremost see is the grey gravel from that parking spot in the forest where I definitely did not throw it anywhere.
Nevertheless I am not a peg-scraper. I meant to tell that it feels surprisingly nimble for a 300 kg bike.

But once I can park the bike without the side stand, I’ll post another pic... :yum

Jez, this is Germany’s “small” plate
And it is one of the things Herr Plod is eagerly looking for,,,
One really gets envious seeing the small plates they have in the U.S.

Hello Daniel it’s good to hear for you again,,,,don’t make it to long next time:)

It sounds like your still enjoying the beast and it still looks good

I keep looking in the motorcycling press for the “Winglad Tours” adverts but can’t find any :worried:

    Hopefully see you soon :)

Hi Winglad, love the ride. After having a glide and enjoying a fatboy the fat bob has all the good points.

Fully agreed, besides my Triumphs, I come from Iron 883 (nice but not for long hauls) and Road King (great but too heavy for me).
The Bob is just the perfect mix for me.
Just returning from a 150 mile trip to the great twisties of the Odenwald.
Man, did anyone say there are no bugs around anymore??? I had a whole catalogue of species on my jacket, pants and helmet...
(and @joe mc donald : before you inquire; naturally not from the speed. I was just eating some Sauerkraut and Bratwurst at the side of the road while they all crashed into me... ;):p)

    Happy Eastern everyone

    WingLad.
It was just said with a light heart. Your bike is fantastic and it was just the gravel. Just me without my meds. Accept my apologizes.
    Ride Safe & Enjoy
    Joe.

    Hey Joe,
the fact that I answered showed that you hit a weak spot...
I always think, I should lean in more, then I think it is good to have an emergency margin to tighten the turn... And so two hearts are beating in my chest. (or a little @Dozers Dad is sitting on my left shoulder and a little @dilligaf sitting on my right one... ;)

Very kind of you to apologize, but no need to. This would not be our long term forum if we did not enjoy a little piss being taken (is that how you say it?) :p

    Cheers, Daniel

    Hoi Dilli,
does not look too good. Situation at home isn‘t great. Guess, there will be no holiday for me this year :pensive:

    I could send Drunkey though...:p

Maybe some of us will make it over to Germany again sometime soon. I think we all thoroughly enjoyed our last trip and the schnitzel was outstanding (yum yum).
