    Hi Olaf,

Yes, it is a custom paint job from new, called volcanic orange.

Never thought I would ever buy an orange bike, Jotas excepted, but I really liked it.

    Cheers

Fitted my new leather seat with gel pad. It's like sitting on a comfortable chesterfield. Really like the way it's turned out. Got my new bar end mirrors fitted too

The seat looks lovely, does it feel higher, I have the comfort seat and really don’t like it

No it doesn't feel any higher, cost an extra £80 for the gel insert, it really is comfortable. Only problem is it's a little slippery when I've got my jeans on. Hoping just to being so new.

Guys name is Matt, I'd personally recommend him, he will do what ever design and material you want, I wanted black leather with the red diamond stitching. He's got a face book page and all the feedback is excellent. He's going to do my new CCM flat tracker seat

What was the total cost for the seat mate, I do have a standard one he can cover with the gel pack.
It’s the only thing about the bike I don’t get on with max 60 miles and I’m in pain

He took my standard seat and recovered in the leather with the gel insert it was £280 total,
My standard seat wasn't to uncomfortable and was only got have it done in leather, which would have been 200. But opted for the gel pad whilst it was being done, can't tell you how comfortable it is now.

I don’t know whether my arse just doesn’t suit the Thruxton, but I’ve never been so uncomfortable as far as the arse is concerned, strange but true
