Thanks. Trying to get some consistency ready for the first race meeting at Easter. It's starting to come together now and I'm happy with where I am - all the day's runs were within 0.1 sec of each other and 3 within 0.01. Just the ticket for the ET class. :)

Sorry to hear that Steve, sounds like it’s a bit tough for the two of you at the moment.

While mother nature was acting up, I decided to change the brake fluid in my Scrambler. From the looks of it, this was the original fluid, Nasty. I just bought a new pump type tool and am very pleased with it. That was the first time I used it and all went well. I know that it is just an extravagance, but I usually don't have any help available .Maybe it'll stop raining and I can get out to check for any difference/improvement.

Rode her to Wales, the scenic route from Sussex.
Did the Triumph adventure scrambler experience.
Had a great time, nice to see what these amazing bikes are capable of and make someone else’s dirty

Did 20 miles on the mountain bike this morning, shower, brekkie, then out on the real bike into Derbyshire via Strines, Snake Pass, Glossop ending up at the Yondermann Cafe for the biggest ham sarnie ever known. Didn't take any pics, was enjoying the ride too much. Only 4 bikes at the café, mostly Hardly's, should have seen the queue for the bog while they put their make up on.

Just a small observation mate but you could have skipped the torture of 20 miles on the mountain bike, did an extra twenty on the real bike then missed the huge sarnie and still arrived at the same place physically, :p, only teasing, I admire your determination in cycling for 20 miles then having a sarnie instead of a full English which I can never resist :yum

    Chuffed you came home happy.

How did you increase the compression ratio? Also what where the standard figures for these bikes?

Rode up to Silverstone in the pouring rain to watch the BSB testing, cold this morning but the ride home was like it was a different season. Nice day though!

have a pair of Aria high comp pistons that will be going into my 865 speedmaster tomorrow.
Like wise what's the fun in buying a bike with more power, when you can spend £250 use the spanners and get some gains?

One of my favourite cafes is Yondermann Cafe, decent food served and a good ride to get there :)

Not the largest of cafes inside and can get packed, you can struggle to get a table at times especially at weekends :(

Lovely warm weather in Surrey today. I had planned on taking Tigger to work today but Nurse advised against it (I had an abscess on my arse and the fcuking surgery did more damage than the infection - six months later there is still an open wound)...

As an aside - this is (apparently) a really common thing in men. Something to do with hairy arses. It’s my public duty to advise any forum member to head straight to the GP/A&E if you get a pain in the arse as being ‘stoic’ is foolhardy.

If the pain in the arse is diagnosed as not infectious then it’s probably caused by ur other half. A marriage guidance counsellor might help - or try to get the phone number of any of the ladies on the babes and bikes thread for a swift remedy.

    Public information broadcast over.

PS: other advice - get a consultant with slim fingers as they will explore places that make you curl into the foetal position and shout ‘brace, brace, brace’. The second bit of advice is get a nice pretty nurse with a sense of humour - we nearly expired in laughter the other day when she had to take a picture of the offending ‘end’ and the whole situation got a bit ‘convoluted’.

    Enough sharing?!?

Pity, as I do have pictures. Now very worried as my iCloud account might be hacked and there are six months of arse pictures... the damage to my personal standing in the community- ruined!
