Nice trip to Abbotsbury, Dorset, earlier in the week. The view is of Chesil Beach and the Isle of Portland.

And if you heat the fork reflector with a handheld hair dryer for four or five minutes before you use the fishing line, it makes the reflector removal even easier! I've used Steve's method coupled with the hairdryer to remove fork reflectors on lots of bikes. It's always one of my first "mods "on a new bike.

The warmest day of the year just had to be a ride into Lincolnshire. Willingham Woods was packed so gave it a miss today, instead dropped into Burton Waters marina for lunch, I've mentioned it in the cafes thread and here it is

Collected my bike from ERS Racing at Knockhill tonight, as I had a leaking fork seal I decided just to get them serviced at the same time, Eddie Stone from ERS is Scotland's premier Ohlins specialist,https://www.ersracing.co.uk/

It's a big difference to what they were like when they were leaking:confounded:!, but to be honest I feel no difference to what they were like before, the manual says to change the fork oil every 24k or 4 years so as mine is 5yr old I just decided to get them serviced at the same time (I got the bike at 2yr old with very little miles on it). you might notice the difference if you waited 10 years or 50k miles?
