Got bored. Never really liked the chrome stick on tank badge on the new twins, so played around with some vintage looking vinyl I cut.
Tigger had a long run out today, but unfortunately just on a boring business trip to Gloucester and back - 240 miles - mostly dual carriageways or motorways. Still, better than doing it in the car! I forgot a comb and looked like Worzel Gummidge, to the amusement of many. Annoyingly I had spent a couple of hours last night swapping out some dodgy dlr leds for new ones only for them to break again on the trip! Shoddy Chinese workmanship! Have ordered a different type and will fit them tomorrow when/if Amazon delivers. Some 9w Eagle Eye leds should be nice and bright! Tiggers 1st MoT tomorrow - doesn’t time fly! Edit: Just read on the inter web that 1W, 3W, 9W Eagle Eye LEDs are all the same! It's a con - the cheeky manipulative sellers make it sounds like they're different. Will check the current draw from the new ones vs some 3W ones I have squirrelled away somewhere.
Took a scenic route to Sutton Cheney Wharf with my wife to meet some non-biker friends for a walk. When we got back to Growler, found he'd made a couple of friends of his own...
As a lover of all things cake I feel your pain, lol, what were you measuring the buildings for out of interest
The first one is for a change of use planning application from shop to beauty salon (It's also a listed building). Second is a former farm estate building converted to a seven bedroom lodge for a shoot. Needs retrospective planning permission and the last is the old beaters mess kitchen which needs demolishing and replacing in another barn.
Ah, interesting, do you work for building control or such like......where exactly would the cake have been involved
It’s not new, but it’s done less than 10000miles... It’s in nice condition, just had one little scoot on it and I’m locking it up... till I get chance to fine tooth comb it! Last time I rode on Metzelers, it was an RD50 33years ago!
No mate I work for myself submitting planning and building control applications. Cake would have been from the cafe next door if I'd had time (one of my previous jobs!)
Ah, fair enough, nice one, I'm in the trade myself but wouldn't get all my kit on the bike, lol, you could have bought a takeaway cake to enjoy with a brew when you got home, you need to polish up on your "cake excuse" angles mate
