Yep very emotive choosing the right bike and I've spent way too much cash changing just about every year. Test rdden so many bikes now from all the makes and as I do so many miles I figured I would buy something comfortable and powerful that handles really well. I've bought bikes on looks: Ducati which was a warranty nightmare I bought bikes on performance: Speed Triple which was too uncomfortable on long runs I bought bikes on image: Tiger 800 XC which being duel purpose didn't handle so well on road and was not that quick. Now I've bought a bike that fits my shape and height and after a 100 miles yesterday I can confirm its great fun to ride for a 250KG bike. I would say it compares closest to the Triumph Tiger Sport 1050 but the riding position is roomier on the Kwak and I would say the Versys is quicker. I acknowledge I probably bought a fairly anonymous looking machine and when the wife and I parked up at Matlock Bath yesterday afternoon nearly all the admiring looks were targeted at my wife's 2012 Street Triple. There is certainly something about the Triumph brand that attracts even non riders.
