Famous last words. I'm still going with a carbon rear tire huger and probably chain guard in carbon as well. Just don't have a tool to remove the rear wheel yet :) I'm seriously kicking around the idea of full carbon and getting the tank painted a dark gun metal or something like that. Who knows, we'll see.

Send pics of the TechSpec Xline tank pads, please!

Sounds like a pretty cool idea for sure. I’ll post up some photos when installed.

OK, here’s the R&G sliders installed. Pretty simple actually, although the left side needed extra washers to tighten it up, very happy with the outcome.

Decided I would swap out the foot pegs with the ones off the Street Triple. I got these on eBay, they are CNC Aluminum, round instead of the half curved stockers. The stock pegs are too aggressive for my boots, they don’t allow me to move my boot around on the pegs at all. Plus the round peg is more comfortable. I’ve ridden about 10,000 km on these and really like them.

Hey all. Just thought I'd chime in on the whole front blinker topic. I picked up a set of AFC signals and so far I love them! My biggest dislike of the Rizomas are the fact that anytime I'm around a bike with them on I'm afraid I'm going to bump them and end up snapping it off. I'm sure it wouldn't happen but I love the flush mount factor of the ones I got.

Post a photo of the AFC turn signals, I’m not familiar with them. As far as snapping off the Rizoma’s, you would have to purposely set out to do such a task. They are so small you literally can’t bump into them walking by the bike. But hay, there could be some Rizoma haters out there looking to attack my turn signals :joy:.

Hmm odd. My Rizomas are not only incredibly small they also have a rubber connection giving them several degrees of play before they would snap off. This is the front of course. The rears are nicely tucked under the tail and protected by the exhaust.

Post some pics though, sounds interesting.

Well, thanks to the guys on this thread, I'm eagerly awaiting delivery of my Rizoma Leggera front turn signals for my '19 RS. I don't anticipate any problems with snapping them off. We have so little room in our garage that we are masters at "dancing" around the bikes so as to not bump anything! I'll let you know what I think of the Leggera's. I'm betting' that they'll be perfect!

These pictures aren't the greatest. It's kinda dark in my storage garage but these are the AFC flush mount blinkers.

Looks very flush mounted. Also looks like the light is pointing out the side instead of facing forward. How well it is seen from the front.

They project really well in all directions. The guy who makes them offers them in several colors from dark smoke to white and you can add a flake effect. I think they're made to order so it takes a bet to get them but so far I love them.

If you are referring to the foot pegs, they were ordered that colour. They are black actually.

Something has been removed, can you guess? Actually two things have been removed, one will be replaced, the other will not. Whoever guesses correctly first wins the coveted thumbs up like :).

I have a question for anyone that's removed the exhaust discs. I can only find imperial measurement hole saws which means the step is from 1.5in (38mm) to 1.75 in (44mm). Would the 44mm work to cut the disc out? I keep seeing people use either 41mm or 43mm saws. Just want to make sure I don't waste money on the wrong saw.
