Bloody hell Im gonna have to make another bloody tow bar
Haven’t finished the one for NUDGER yet

 

Be nice once a tail tidy is fitted and a few tweaks to the shiny bits, all in all a great release

 

Is there some kind of sat-nav built into the screen?

 

Hefty looking crash bars,maybe some off road ability.
Don't like the Arrow cans though

You can bet DD that if we have a bad summer,weather wise, then not many will see a wheel turn and if we have a few fine evenings they’ll all be ridden into town so as their owners can look at themselves in the shop windows

I can't believe that members of a Triumph forum name-call others because of the model of Triumph they ride! I ride a Scrambler but I consider myself the complete opposite of a poser. I bought it cos I like the style with no intention of going off-road. I haven't even been across a grass verge. If I had the £'s I'd also get the new 1200 even though I have no intention of competing in the forthcoming Baja 1000. I'd also get a Bobber, if only to put on my coffee table instead of watching tv. But then I'd be a 'hipster' as well? Come on lads you're better than this. Shouldn't we respect each others rides for whatever reason?

....or they copied Triumph.? Don't forget a few of the Triumph lads jumped ship to RE.

Yes. An app on an iPhone can link into the bikes screen so you have access to your phone. Sat nav, messages etc. Can also control go pro cameras from buttons on the bars.

 

I like it a lot, especially the Baja version, which is never a good news for the accountant. It is going to cost me a new bathroom and rear kitchen extension before I can even attempt to get this passed by the minister of finance and war..

I have the opposite view/problem. Street scrambler is sweet and nicely balanced but for a "scrambler" it is simply too low and for me at 6'3" generally too small. I do not dwarf it but it just does not fit. I find myself trying to slide back on the seat as far as it goes to make my position a bit more natural but that is not good for riding.
The 1200 is to me looking even better in flesh and fits me like a glove. Hope it rides as well as it looks. Soon..

 

It massive!!! I could only get one foot to touch the ground

 

On a softer set up I could flat foot it, on a harder set up I may have my heels just off the ground. Spot on.

 

I ride a Bonny 865 altered it quite a bit to make it look 70s style but I dont have a beard or wear a chequered shirt so im reckoning im not a hipster more of a wrinkley rocker these days,fair shout great post

 

This is confusing! I thought the current market trend was to smaller, more manageable bikes. Everybody still continues with the same old thing, Bigger is not always better. When I bought my Scrambler, It was definitely not to use as a dirt bike. Geez, I can imagine pushing mine out of a mud hole. There are far better choices if you really want to go off road! Just my opinion though.

 

My scrambler 1200 first 100 miles
Very happy with my bike fits me better than anything else, I am 6” just
Even running in ( 4000 revs ) she is a lot of fun!
Seems to float over everything but still handles very well.
I think triumph have made me my perfect bike
