A gratuitous photo for anyone else thinking of doing it. These mirrors are the old Stadium design; beautifully finished, to my eyes more in keeping with the bike's styling than the original items, staying solidly in place and at least on my 1200 R, vibration free.

If fitting to a watercooled twin be sure to pay the extra fiver for each mirror to include the T120 bar end adaptor.

Per another thread in this forum, my next task is to cover the exposed bar end, join and adaptor with some tubing - ideally polished or brushed.

Looking good my man! I have been thinking about getting rid of the stock "mouse ears" mirrors on my scrambler. Can you see anything besides your arm with these? And, I see on ebay such a price disparity. I guess it is like the old saying, you get what you pay for. any opinions?

I fitted these to my Thruxton today, and turned inwards you get a width saving of about 40mm and surprisingly good view behind

The mirrors have detents that click the arms in three positions: Inboard, middle, and outboard. I use the middle position as the view is completely unobstructed and the bike can be filtered more readily than with the mirrors in the outboard position - even though I love the look of them even more like this.

I must admit I’ve set them at a slightly weird angle,so I don’t hit them with my gloves but still have good rearward vision

A photo with one of the chromed bar end finishers that I made subsequent to my original post.

Really look too small but are surprisingly good

How do you find the overall width? Since I fitted the fairing with the ace bars I found the standard mirrors way too wide.
And I know the ones I bought look ridiculously small they are good

Fitted the same Halcyon mirrors to my TTR, got them nice and flush though.
Pushed the bars through the grips 12mm to get rid of where the originals fitted. Machined the bar so the original clip on the opposite end to the mirror is still fitted. Didn't need the adapter fittings as I machined the mirror clamp to fit the bar.
All can be returned to completely standard if I decided to put the OEM mirrors back on

I found the rear view is so much better, in fact excellent now with the Halcyon mirrors, no arms in the way with them angled out slightly, you can turn them in for filtering and still see behind and also no vibe through the bars as they act like bar end weights.

I do like the idea they can be turned in, I only went for the small Triumph ones because filtering with the standard mirrors felt too iffy as the gap you need is quite wide

I want to put the Halcyon 830 on my 2005 Thruxton. Can't seem to figure out what kind of adapter, my stock handlebars have a flat face with a M5 threaded hole on my clip-ons. No recess to insert the type of systems shown. Then I'm also confused by a site where I saw these on sale saying they might not pass requirements for street and were for off road only. That just seemed strange. Any thoughts?

Nice look! Looking into bar end mirror options too. Side question how did you mount the front signals under the fairing? Looking for similar bracket options.
