Yep, I have one with a Givi top box fitted they are OK and easy to fit, but not that you would want to take it off and refit regularly as you have to split the read mudguard to get to the fixing.

Do not be tempted to get the Renntec top box, even locked you can get into it with a screwdriver and when you close it its locked again

Took about 1 hour to fit. The tail box can be removed and it just leaves the mounting plate which is permanently fixed to the rack.

I had a chrome one on mine - it came with the bike. Didn't use it so changed it for a grab rail in my attempt to "de-clutter" the Bon tb.jpg IMG_20150217_132012347_HDR.jpg nie.

Is the overall height of the rack the same as the grab rail?

Yeah, I would say they were about the same. The only reason I have the rail is so that the girlie doesn't think she's falling off the back! Preferre IMG_20140808_143937065_HDR.jpg d it without.

My girlfriend likes to hold onto the grab rail but struggles a bit to reach. Told her to grow longer arms but that didn't go down to well

Picture of my rack. It's one of those renntec copy's for £40delivered from a guy on eBay who does loads. Forgot what he's called but he's in Newcastle area. He does the rear shocks too and loads of other goodies for bonnevilles. image.jpg image.jpg

You'll be talking about George at TEC bike parts (or Moonlight something). I've got their fork brace, steering damper, gas piggy-back shocks, 19T front sprocket etc etc. Good guy and good gear.

    Dave

PS I see you've got the gas shocks as well. What's that fitted to the rack? Is it a helmet lock and did the rack include it?

Yes Dave, you've good eyes!! Bought one on line for around £10/11 then a friend in the trade got one identical for around £5/6 so I've another on the other side. Also bought some flat bars and shallow raised ones in black for around £15 each from the same guy. Cheap as chips!! Fairing was chip money too, looks better than it works but at those prices I've also bought two so I can swap. Unlike my wife with the sewing machines I didn't get stitched up that time. Heh heh. I think that's the one but I'm sure he used a different id Thought it was mirrors and lights or something. He sells very good arrow copies/ style exhausts too for around £300

Those helmet locks sound good and the black bars sound excellent - do you think he would sell me some too?

That would be very kind. I'm assuming the bars are 1" rather than than the more common 7/8ths" ? The T100 is fitted with 1" bars.
