I've heard of Interspinous Ligament Desmotomy, which can be performed with the horse standing, or periodical steroid injections, all depending on the gravity of the condition. Good you still have options, good luck with that!

Thanks. Yes that is one, less traumatic option, or they apparently can now grind the spine sections down as well. She is moving freely at the moment, a lot can be achieved by keeping the horse muscled up to hold correct posture as well. She will get the best we can get for her..

The first is a painting of an unknown German Shepherd, done by my father in 1954, that my daughter has always loved. The second is my daughter's dog, Tam (confusingly for any fellow Scots on here, Tam is a girl dog), posing recently in front of an old picture frame. Tam is a Tamaskan, born in Lincolnshire, although the breed was originally from Finland, I believe. Although a good-sized dog, she's quite small for the breed (thank goodness), and a lovely dog once you get to know her (a bit aloof). IMG_0660.JPG IMG_0659.JPG

My number one riding buddy. She has a tank bag converted to carrier for the big bike, but she is mental for the Honda 90, slower speed and people talk to her at stop lights.

This is my fella, Jack. He's nearly 7 now . Dumb as a post but really affectionate and as soft as they come. He's a lab/German Shepherd cross so although doesn't look that big in this photo (he wasn't fully grown), he's a good 6 stone - think labrador on steroids!
I bought him a pool to cool him down, but didn't read the packaging properly. I love the look of disdain on his face...:D
