Its the bike Triumph should have built in the seventies in answer to the Japs.

I like it, but I feel they should have really went all out to make it a modern looking "Retro" ie usd forks & better brakes & suspension.. the flat seat and gaiters look fine on some of the Bonnies but not on this one:( I feel they have missed a trick, they will probably sell loads of them though;)

I managed to sit on one yesterday, must say does look and feel very nice. Only thing that looks out of place to me are the black bits on the exhausts, like the Street Cup, just look a tad cheap to me. Easily fixed with some brushed V&H pipes, as per picture above. Seems like good value to me at £10,800, I’m only £10,700 short of buying one

Looks like they got it right with the power and handling. It looks more modern than classic but I think I like it. Must test ride one but could be my next motorcycle possibly.

I think I said before, but if they release an R version with a bigger tank and cruise control, I'd definitely be interested

I like it too! the only thing that I would have to address right now, is that rear end. Nothing a quick snip and cut wouldn't fix.

It's a real shame because i really like it BUT i am not buying any new triumph because of the cost of servicing.

Is it physically bigger than the thruxton Andy? I love the look of the thruxton but for me it would have to be quite a bit bigger..OR if I were to loose about 4 stone then it might feel bigger!!

Agree if you can DIY. But book it in with a stealer & it’ll make your eyes water.Still could be worse, you could own a BMW car, £186 + vat labour per hour

I think going by the looks I'd like one but I just wouldn't buy a new bike.

Nice but needs USD forks. Fork gaiters are naff looking imho. Keep the wheels, spokes are a PITA.

Maybe in 10 years time, when I do actually slow down. Not there yet. :p:cool:

My thoughts exactly. Why didn't they use the clocks & switchgear from the Scrambler?

I do like the look of it I have to say, think it would look much nicer with a bit of shape to the seat though, it's a bit flat and boring, I quite like the colour but the red looks good too.
