Hello All, About time I joined, been riding Triumphs ( mostly ) since a Tiger Cub in 1965 ! Now own a 2017 Tiger Sport. I can't fault it. 2 years ago I did a 10,000 mile trip on a 2014 Tiger and the only thing that crazed me was the side-opening panniers, so now looking for box type for another long trip. Any suggestions?

Hi mate and welcome to the forum :grinning:
Sorry, no advice on the panniers as I always travel light with tank bag and soft luggage on the back seat, inside out, back to front etc, etc :D

Welcome to the Family. We will need a picture of the steed to keep us all calm for Nursey while she gets the meds.

Welcome, old newbie! I'm in the same tribe. After 35 years of nonriding I had a relapse. So happy so far! Enjoy the ride!

Hi Jim I started in 1966 and I had '59 Tiger Cub. Did yours run at night and in the rain? On the other hand they do build character. Wish I still had it.

I think mine was a '59, rode it 30 miles back to college on a sunday night all through winters of 64 & 65, never let me down but went into ' limp mode' sometimes!

Hi and welcome to the forum
Not sure what alternative panniers you can get for the Tiger Sport (I have a Tiger 800). Mine are the top opening, alumnium box style ones - Expedition I think Triumph call them. Bloody brilliant and totally practical. Don't really like the side opening ones - why would you design something where everything falls out when you open it?
