I'd forgotten that there's also the matt/gloss option too...so for me of course, it has to be gloss/plain. I'm with you on the battery cover too - it needs to stay white to match the tank
QB Carbon ......I have purchased lots of carbon kit off them back in early 2000 . I believe they are still around called World of QB Carbon
Probably keep it to put back on when I sell it, plus new one white is £200, or I need to buy and get it painted, and don’t know if I want to spend that much to change it. There are a few carbon ones on eBay at the moment.
I'm just getting started with the carbon too! New carbon exhaust and heel plates, hugger and front mudguard next on the list.
Not for me I'm afraid Bryan. Looking at the pictures of the pre-2016 bikes...there wasn't much (any?) carbon as standard...so you can go your own way - gloss, plain, twill, matt. So many choices
got a few carbon bits on mine heel guards rear hugger ,but the thing that really is annoying me is that Triumph give you a lovely carbon front guard and leave the side pieces gash plastic ,where dis you get the infills from
No it’s for sale, may buy it just to get painted to match my bike as it’s abouf the cheapest one about.
My 2012 R has the carbon side panels as standard, I ordered the carbon mudguard from Conquest Carbon , they also sell the side panels in carbon.
You know it’s a Translogic unit, meant to have best software, but I don’t know if it’s Triumphs or Translogic they use. I tried the factory ones on the S1000R and Superduke 1290 R and loved them, Wary of fitting one to my 2012 as gearbox not designed for it.
