Just a quick question , i feel cold after seeing Lessaint's fantastic heater.
I want a cheap heater for the shed ,just to take the chill off.
Some of these things are rubbish. So although I dont want to spend a lot and Im not interested in flues or chimneys
Does anyone own a heater they would recommend.

I would like the GS in the living room cos it needs a lot of work only Ive 3 steps up the path and 2 into the house, not impossible but not without risk. with all the plastic down it would look like a scene from Dexter.

You want one of these like I've got.
30kw runs on red diesel for pennies. On for 10 minutes off again all nice and toasty.

    Aerosol can for scale.
2.92l/h fuel consumption according to the label. The black lower portion is all fuel tank so I fill that up at beginning of winter and it usually sees me through.

I’m looking for a infra red heater approx 1.2 -1.8 kw directional mounting on ceiling but seem expensive, wouldn’t be on for long, new garage, insulated blocks and apex thermo cladding. Hold the heat. Metal door south facing acts like a heater on sunny days. Just a light background heat for 20 minuets, some garages where damp gets in and/or draughty are money pits.

I use a Clarke little devil gas blow heater, I think it was around 60 quid on a Machine Mart vat free weekend. Bottle of propane refill about £20 lasts ages. When it's been on 10 mins In my double garage I have to switch it off
Fair weather biker, fair weather tinkerer... Think I'm getting too old.

Got one of these, but you do need to get a gas bottle to go with it, but lasts for ages. Good bit of kit, had it 6 years, lights first time, everytime.

My neighbour gave me a fan heater, which is surprisingly effective in a 10 x 8 shed. Sorted.
