Sensibly left his Tiger in the garage though!

 

Givi pannier racks arrived today ,they look ideal and fit the panniers well.
The only problem is there is a piece missing, " the rear bridge", that joins and stabilizes the two sides, to be exact. I sent off an Email, so Im waiting to hear back.

I was staring at my Thruxton R’s tank to decide to get tank pads or not

 

New rear pads for the Tiger today.

 

I like that big screen on your bike Vulpes very handy

 

They not only look good but they feel good when riding, steering the bike with the knees is a lot better

 

First ride in 4 days - glorious sun and nice dry roads. I even had it in sport mode for the first time, and it was rather quick

 

Been on tinterweb today and have sent off for some lipstick for NUDGER

Installed exhaust and put on some frame sliders

 

Discovered i have some oil leaking from either the drain plug or the filter on my Street Cup. Not yet done the first oil change after the initial break in service, so wondering if the shop either didnt use a new washer on the drain plug or didnt torque the filter down properly. They used a Triumph labeled filter, anyone had issues there?

 

Went for a short morning ride while it was still a relatively cool 23C.

 

Check your filter by hand, they are usually just more than hand tight,

 

23c cool, bloody hell that is a hot summer day.......

 

That's one good looking Bike, except for that awful rear fender! Who thought that up?

 

I’d have had it done while I waited, guess you won’t be taking it back there again. Any mileage put on the clock?

 

A wet trip down to Somerset this morning but no snow and no salt so I was happy. Nice to have the bike just plain mucky again instead of white and salty!

I can understand how pi££ed you must be, what in fecks name were they doing riding it anyway, never had that for a bike MOT ever.
