In the mancave at 0500am this morning, I thought I would try the new carbon bits, leave the other works n(suspension tail tidy) till I get the fire going.

I had a Nissan 370Z with carbon mods, man it was nice. The wife still misses that car.

The bike lift is from Machinemarts here in the UK would imagine it is made in China to Machinemarts specification, as it is a step up from the usual bike lift.

Get them bloody reflectors off the fork legs.
The carbon front mudguard side panels were standard on my 2012 R, but had to get the mudguard to match.

Well that was worth getting up at 5:00am for - looks lovely

Well done for sticking with plain weave to match the original parts - I fall into an OCD frenzy when twill and plain are mixed (but can live with the carbon end cap on the Arrow can :D).

I'm a big fan of carbon, but also mindful of not overdoing it. I reckon there are a few more bits you can add though - anything else planned?

I think I need heel guards!

+1 for the fork reflectors...they need to go (easiest method is to slice them off by drawing a piece of fishing line or strong cord behind them, then you can clean off the residue).

...and the white sliders - did I read that you're changing them? I think you should ;)

    (apologies for my over-opinionated post)

Triple, I have bought the carbon components from Conquest and very nice too, but they have not got in stock the parts I most wanted Hugger Sprocket cover and battery cover, bit of a disappointment really the out of stock issue in 2019

I guess you've got plenty of other stuff to play with with in the meantime - and hopefully they'll be back in stock soon :)

Uh oh, I like the mix of twill and plain weave. Maybe I won’t post pics :worried:

I tried both battery cover options and picked the twill as it tied in well with the arrows. I went plain on the seat cowl and tank. I’m deciding which to go for on the belly pan.

Either way I had a great day of riding over 100 miles in the middle of winter!

Please ignore my personal preferences - I think twill is way nicer than plain, but my desire to keep the carbon all matchy-matchy made me stick with plain. I don't have my Arrows fitted anymore, so that problem went away :)

    You MUST post pics :D

For me its keep it all the same if you can, so my Arrow low boy is gloss and the origonal panels on the R are too, so whent with a gloss front mudguard.
I want to get the tank infill panels too, then that's all the carbon I'm having.
I'm also thinking or replacing the carbon battery cover with a white one, the longer I own it the more I think it looks wrong!
