All Thruxtons have the HP engine. Mine came new with an xpipe and different silencers. I wanted the baffles in as it was just too loud without. Jack Lilley said it didn't require any remapping either way and it seems to run very well. Got me thinking now!
I’ve spoken to Woburn Triumph and the power commander’s in stock now and the pipes although still being made should be there next week. So they’re going on the bike now.
Bought a pair of smaller mirrors today, since fitting the lower bars because the angle from vertical has decreased the mirrors seem way too wide. I bought these as I can put the mirrors innards toward the clocks and hopefully they won’t feel so wide. Bloody small though, I’ll let you know if I can see anything in them
You’ll never be finished, you see something you like and it’ll be on it, until you get rid and start again. I know I’m the same
I’ve not fitted them yet as I only bought because the pivot was at the end rather than the middle, Are they bad coz I can return them. They do look ridiculously small though
Hey John smith that looks well nice….. you won't be disappointed , the more you ride it, the better it gets, i would recommend a dark visor , otherwise people will wonder why you are smiling so much……..
Can anyone share a picture of a matt black Thruxton R with the black engine covers fitted but still with alloy wheels and exhaust. Just wondered how that would look. Thanks
