I got mine in November - managed to put about 850 miles in it since then, although it won't be seeing any action today!

I'll give you a heads up if i'm over that way. it's a cracking 45 minute run along the coast for me.

No I don't imagine i'll be seeing much for some time. The tempos are well down here. Not that much snow around mind,
Have you added any Mods? I'm after the fly screen, barend mirrors, heated grips a quickshifter and top of the list an exhaust system.

Yes, I've added quite a few bits & bobs: frame protectors, heated grips, bobbins, bellypan, tail tidy, grab rail, flyscreen, brake & clutch levers and fork protectors.

I did think about the quickshifter but I do a lot of riding in town and it seemed a lot of money for something that would provide limited benefit.

Being a newbie ish myself, you will not be on a better forum to learn and get to know things, or ask questions. They also take the piss quite a bit

As a first timer my intention is to go on a motorbike maintenance course, or just hang out more closely with more experienced guys and girls.

Good luck, lovely bike, safe riding.

    Regards,

    Martin

Welcome, good choice of bike, I have the RS.
When funds allow a QS is a nice addition and on mine is silky smooth :p

70C8E129-4915-45C1-BA48-A5B717549B97.jpeg Welcome fella, Aberdeenshire here too down at Portlethen. I’ve had my RS a year now but with weather and work getting in the way I’m still just at 1200 miles.
The wind up here is a b*tch coming in from the sea and really puts me off going out most days I’m able to. There’s a massive difference when you get further away from the coast though.

Hope your enjoying the bike chum :)
