By a piggy Back I mean that it runs alongside the existing Triumph Data, so 1) does not affect warranty 2) not traceable 3) completely adaptable on every ride

 

i really need to find out where i can get remapping done easily, this is what puts me off from doing these kind of mods…. a remap will be atleast £100 or an hours labour as I am in the unfortunate position that my closest triumph dealer are total rip offs, well known for poor service, long waiting times, and will never give a good deal on new bikes, the main reason for buying my bike from triumph 120 miles away in Milton Keynes , i even hired a van and took it back there for its first service…. going back to my younger days and motocross bikes i made a vow never to buy anything from them again.
i dont know what hilltop is,is it a triumph dealer….

 

No he is independent, has a dyno rig & specialises in race tuning. 2 options. 1, disconnect battery then ECU, send in post to Hilltop for soft ware download, 2 days later returned in post, follow very basic instructions supplied & enjoy, or 2, book bike in with him he will dyno before & after download, job done. £300 or £360 I think for dyno. Check website Hilltop Motorcycles.
My calculations, get your money back in fuel savings alone within 15,000 miles. No brainer imho

Do you know how it adapts Ken,I’ve gone for a power commander so I can get two maps installed one for baffles and one for straight through, but depending on how adaptable the Hilltop one is I might go for that instead

 

Shame they don’t still do the same colours, that is beautiful
