Hi everyone! I'm the happy owner of a brand new Street Triple R. I'm trying to find a solution to mount my Garmin Zumo 390LM without having to leave the mount base on the bike all the time to avoid it to be stolen/damage. The provided cable doesn't give me the option to take it off the mount plate once it is wired to the battery.
Has anyone found an alternative to plug it in/off.
    Thanks!

A friend of mine grafted the ends from an old Optimate onto his cable so he could unplug it.

Nip to your local Maplins & pick up an Optimate type plug. You get the male & female parts in a pack for a couple of quid. Cut your Sat nav power cable a few inches from the unit and fit the plug to both ends ( soldiered is best ) Make sure live & negative correspond. I will post a pic of mine on my Blackbird if you need any more help

Thanks Nixy! That helps a lot, I was concern about cutting the cable and find that the cables would be too complicated to attach.
A picture definitely would help. It looks like I have a solution!
    Have a great weekend!

    Simple as that really.
There's only 2 wires in the cable.
