    Getting old is guaranteed.
suffering in the cold for me is due to racing motorcycles for quite a few years and hitting the floor at speed quite a lot.

So now I just wait until it’s warm and the pain goes away simples.

Screen Shot 2019-01-11 at 21.52.03.png i cant get this bike out of my head, cant help thinking it should be sat next to my thruxton, its a brand new bobber 2018, its actually cheaper than a second hand one in the same shop, its 9.1k and im thinking its a bit of a one off deal, i could sell my Yamaha, or part ex it, does anyone of you boys have one or ridden one, as i haven't as yet, but i know i should do… i cant believe it hasnt sold yet, last time i mentioned buying my thruxton i got plenty of inspiration from this forum, including Andy who claims that silver ones are faster, or something like that……. and that black is the only colour from other folk, what do you reckon boys…… i need some ideas to explain to my wife why i need this bike, and what will i say when she finds out it only has one seat, i need a gameplan before i make my move… ha

I test rode a Bobber and really liked it, but would have to be a 2nd bike. I'm just under 5' 8'' so most bikes fit me really well.

I went to the isle of man several years ago and it was the most fantastic biking experience I've ever had. The racing is breathtaking, to see them skimming dry stone walls at ridiculous speeds cannot be described. The atmosphere, the sheer number of bikes, mad sunday, can't beat it really. We were lucky and had good weather, especially as we were camping. Sadly, there were quite a few deaths, I think about 5 visitors died as well.

    I'd love to go again.

They are ok but if i were to be brutal, i would say they remind me of the knurled handled screwdriver handle i cast in my metalwork class at school , they would do the job but depends on how you feel, sometimes its the small things that can ruin the bigger picture…. would be ok if they were cheaper as they aren't a long way off the triumph ones for price…… i wouldn't put them on my bike, as i am fussy, if you are desperate then get some bolts for now and maybe some second hand ones will turn up…...

It’s actually more comfy now, it takes the weight off my back.
You should try one with the low bars to see how it feels next to your bike.

No when I bought the fairing it came with an’R’ low bar kit I already had one from the cafe racer ‘S’ kit that came with my bike.
I’ve still got the R low kit up for grabs

I probably didn’t explain properly on both posts.
The fairing kit I bought was for an R not a standard, that’s why I have the extra R handlebar kit and 3 handlebar grip sets

    Looking damn good!

I like the low bars on mine, only issue is it makes it more difficult to look over your shoulder, but no issues with comfort. Mind you, longest trip I have done was about 80 miles with a break.

funny thing for me as soon as I got on I felt so much more comfortable, probably because I’ve been riding sports bikes for the last twenty years and sitting up seemed to put too much weight on my arse.
    Strange but true

That Audi definitely wouldn’t, I don’t think the throttle has been even halfway pressed
