Arai Helmets; Any Good?

2nd full swing by me and the picture speaks for itself.
So that's 6 hits or so by my 10 year old plus 2 full swings by me.
Must say I thought the results, although not very scientific, seemed impressive. A hammer test may not be representative of real world circumstance but a kerb , or other road furniture, coming along at say 100 mph may create a similar impact.

 

I had intended to measure the shell thickness but in a good way the shell had de-laminated so any measurement would have been meaningless.
