What you drinking tonight?

Got a bottle of 10 year old Jura for chrimbo but I won’t be having any tonight as I’m driving MIL and FIL for a joint birthday meal.

 

I've bought a lot of Jura's over the years and found them all to be very agreeable.

Bye bye to the remaining brain cells I have, last time I drank this I started speaking Swahili after the first 3!

A cheapie Malbec tonight, it’s not bad but leaves a dryness to the sides of my toungue... I may have to swill it away with a rum n coke later

 

Hmmm...decisions decisions decisions decided on the Irish wouldn’t know how to describe this in the way that some of you might want/appreciate (you know...poncy) but it’s smoother in the mouth than Jack Daniels
Don’t think I can do half a bottle or a full bottle like I can with Jack Daniels when I’m in the mood
But no harm in trying

 

It’s very nice swilling round my teeth and it’s nice to swallow
But straight after swallowing I get an after taste .....actually more of an after aroma if that makes sense?
Not unpleasant but a bit perfumey
I know perfumey is not a word but what the feck I’m having a drink and no work tomorrow

Down my local, The Ship, in Bromham Road, having watched United muller Bournemouth, munching and drinking the feast of kings, pork scratchings and Youngs. A bit out of focus I admit, but I am a wee bit tired and emotional.

 

... and @dilligaf if you can make it down before closing time mate, I'll treat you to one of these. Buy your own coke mind. I may be generous, but not that generous.

Just finishing off a bottle of Red it say's Tempranillo Cabernet but I couldn't give a monkey's it tastes good.
Which is strange!! as a Scot I don't like the taste of Whisky? My faither will never forgive me.
