Me too. Mum bought my jeans several sizes too big in an attempt to make them last longer and so I’d end up with turn ups at least as long as those. Sadly the philosophy though well founded was doomed to fail cos I inevitably wore the knees out before I could grow into the turn ups. I didn’t know it but I was the founder of “ripped” jeans way back in the 70’s.
