Had a very frosty run out on the Explorer XC to Telford and back. The roads first thing were very icy and great care was needed. The run back was fine until dusk when freezing fog began to form. I slowed down but numpties still flew past me.

Spent the morning getting all the salt and other muck off the Explore. Had a trip to Nottingham this afternoon. Just a ride out.

Just settling in for the night in Plymouth. I spent nearly ten hours in the saddle getting to Plymouth, diverted to Cirencester and Glastonbury on the way. It was damn cold this morning and then wet, but all in all a good ride. Tomorrow I'm heading for Chichester via Exeter and Poole. Meeting up with my misses and daughter at Chichester.:upyeah:

Change of plan this morning. Getting ready to set out from Chichester to Southwold. Going to head off for the M25 and go anti-clockwise around the M25 to the Dartford crossing and then the A12. Weather isn't too bad at the moment, so should be a good ride.

Cannot fault his enthusiasm though :upyeah:

Just managed to acquire the last edition of the Triumph T300 workshop manual, so that should come in handy

Was going to get the engine and clutch covers redone on the Sprint Sports but I've decided if I tidy it up too much I will end up never riding the dam thing.

Currently also hunting for another bike to add to the collection if I get the truck sold. More or less narrowed it down to 3 models and shock horror one of them isn't a Triumph .

Not so much rain as spray on the M25. Not nice at all.

When I said "Good ride" I meant the entire ride. Too much spray on the M25 for it to be pleasant.

No riding today. Decided it was too windy to risk riding home, so staying at Southwold for another night. Checked over the Trophy, no problems.

Got all my bits I needed to start moding my bike to take my twisty ride iPhone holder
Wired in the charger but didn't like any of the options how the holder went on my bike so will be making my own

Took the Sprint Sports out for a run to Loomies Cafe this afternoon.
First time I have been since the change of ownership was impressed with the new set up and good to see that there was quite a few bikes there (lots of triumphs but not a Harley in sight )
Saw a very nice Speed Four and a 600 TT that were in very good condition for their age.

Well worth a visit if you are in the area :upyeah:

Just got home from Southwold. I was going to head home on Friday, but decided that the winds were too strong to make riding 150 miles unsafe. The winds had dropped this morning so had a steady ride home. There were still bits of trees, branches etc in the road to make riding with caution necessary.:upyeah:

Went and looked at bikes as I am thinking of acquiring another one

There were also some T300's as well but not sure what I will end up buying.

No riding for the past couple of days due to the awful weather. Spent the time cleaning and polishing the bikes. Also gave all the riding gear a good check over and clean.

At last I finished spraying my helmet to match my bike, put the final clear coat on just after Christmas
so thought it was time to get it on my head and go for a ride
    helmet.jpg
I got the helmet and goggles together, but had to leave it til yesterday. Went for a ride, stopped to adjust goggle straps and noticed the strap had made indents in the Clear coat!! And the goggles had too. That's 2 weeks after I sprayed the final coat of clear on. Any way looks like I'll be rubbing down and doing it again  So I guess you know what I'll be doing with my Triumph for the next few days!
