Welcome aboard Steve, hope you enjoy the forum and your new steed, the members on here will want to see a pic of your new bike, a few will tell you it'd be best in black , but most of us are cool with any colour :D

    Welcome aboard.

Are you looking for a performance boost with new pipes or a more manly exhaust note?!

The SAI kits are pretty much of a muchness since they consist of little more than two blanking bolts and washers plus a bung and some vacuum caps. You can pay extra for decorative bolt heads or use sump plugs! On its own it does nothing for performance but cools the exhaust somewhat. Maybe you know all this but........

Beyond that, you are looking at opening up the air box snorkel, de-baffling and re-jetting in accordance with the sum total of inlet and exhaust modifications. What’s your budget? Here’s an example: https://www.triumphtwinpower.com/bo...ster-carb-airbox-modification-removal-kit.php
and throw in about another £40 to re-jet.

I bought the TriumphTwinPower SAI blind with a DNA filter and new jets, when I looked closer realised it had already been done. but most do it especially on injected models, mine is Carb 2007 865.

Hi and welcome - I have a 2012 SE fitted with TORS exhausts.
SAI has been removed, O2 sensors removed, air box baffle removed, DNA filter and velocity bell-mouth fitted with a re-map (Triumph Twin Power Stage 1). Makes a big difference to mid-range torque and smoothness of the bike.

TORS are Triumph after market pipes, which give a deep growl when opened up but sound roughly the same as stock when idling or at low revs. For this reason some people don't consider them loud enough but I prefer it that way. You can get louder pipes: cheap (TEC, Classic Bike Shop, and Feked on ebay) or more expensive (Arrow, Zard, Niorman Hyde). I had Dunstall straight-through pipes on my old T100, which sounded awesome when accelerating but became a bloody droning pain on long runs.
