Hay Rich I would hate to be accused of limiting your experiences in life.

The anticipation is killing me mate. Roll on May. I fear, though, that I'll probably have used all the left-over tea bags by then, even the ones I dried out and re-used two or four times.

Doubly funny, just found some bramble jam we made in 2012, about 4 jars, might open one soon.

A while back @Rocker had asked me if we will be doing "The road to the isles" (A830 to Mallaig) when we head up to Skye on the Tuesday (it will add about 80 miles onto that days total mileage, making it approx 256 miles ),if anyone else fancies doing this we will be leaving the Corran bunkhouse at 7am. for those that don't fancy it we will meet them in Fort William at 9.30 ish for breakfast at https://jjs-cafefortwilliam.business.site/ (it's about 10 miles from the corran bunkhouse)
point 2 on the map is Mallaig

I'd be up for that - great road. Just a pity they b*ggered up the nice single track bit between Kinlochailort and Arisaig (well, as of the Prince's Cairn, really). Would you take the old road from Arisaig to Mallaig and the new one back? Fantastic views of the Small Isles at Traigh.

I've put the Daily routes up onto the Myroute-app web site, I havn't put them on the Triumph group page as the 2018 Scottish Trip is on there plus there seems to be a lot of personal routes from other members on it for some reason?
So to save any confusion they are on my routes page If you log onto the Myroute -App website and click on my name (Dougie Doig) then have a look in my routes and click on the folder named "Scotland 2019 Daily routes"
If you want me to send you the GPX files instead let me know.
PS i will PM everyone later with detailed info for each day,or if you prefer you can PM me your email address and i'll email all the info over to you

To copy the trip routes onto your own routes, once you open up the route click on " +USE ROUTE" top right of screen,a box will come up asking what do you want to call the route, you can change the name of the route if you want or just leave it as it is,then click ok and the route will now be in with your own routes

I've only done the bit from Armadale to the Kyle bridge - and Dunvegan by yacht... Looking forward to seeing more of it!
