Washed & cleaned yesterday, rode in to dealer afterwards to quiz them about the idle speed control.
Anyway, on way home, stopped for some beer and veges - walking back to bike I just happened to see something stuck in the tread of the rear tyre... looked like a piece of gravel, but wouldn't flick out. So noted the position and rode home.

Got my artery forceps out and grabbed the end, started to pull and heard the tell tale pffffffttt... Bugger.

Today, went in to buy a decent plugging kit and have made the repair, tyre is still up to pressure, so all is looking good. The offending item was a shard like piece of acrylic.

She's done, i got it for the missus (She's got her mod 2 on the 17th) and feels her street triple might be a bit too quick for her until she builds up her confidence but rest assured I have no inclination to ride it myself : unamused:;):p

Again Triumph Newcastle have been great, got a great deal on it new (cheaper than used prices) and kindly offered to deliver it next weekend, all in all a highly recommend dealer.

Nice one, I had one for the day while mine was serviced and it was a hoot. Try it, you’ll not be blown away by the (lack of) grunt but it’ll put a smile on your face I’m sure. :p

It looks fun, I did get offered test ride but decided not too haha cos it was cold, we even had snow that day o_O
I assume it will be kind of like my 900 thunderbird which I absolutely love to bits.
It looks a proper sturdy little bike and the detail and quality of build looks great.
I'll see how it rides next year, cos it's going straight in the garage until next year now hahaha

Take it easy if you do BB, lots of leaves around now as you say plus various other winter hazards.

Winter hazards none too bad as wind has cleared the roads of most leaves while overnight rain has washed off the residue. Blue skies appear.
The Bonnie is taking me to Murrayfield for the Scotland-Fiji game. Starting it should be fun. The 7yr old battery is shot and barely cranking albeit nominally ‘fully charged’ so the old Halfrauds Trade Card came in handy and it will be swapped out in a few short hours courtesy of the old click and collect
    Right......where are those jump leads?
