Never had one. Never got around to one but I liked the black Montana.
An unorthodox cruiser but easy to ride & functional in a variety of scenarios & distances.
This guy & this bike? I like the colors & its equiped by an experienced rider. He understands ATGATT & believes in conspicuity.
As for Brits questioning homely women & build quality I can only scratch my head & suggest they take a closer look around.

What has been seen, cannot be unseen, now please hand me that bottle of bleach while I go and wash my eyeballs out.

Agree on some of your points, homely women ? definitely not. Somebody told me to watch Take me Out. OMG, bunch of tarts, (some ugly ones to boot) wearing too much body putty and not enough brain cells. (Kawasaki owners ?). Ever notice BMW riders always have, his and her matching gear , I might be partially dead but I'm not ready for a BMW, pipe and tartan slippers just yet.
As for being conspicuous, Lewis leathers, top and bottom, plus their boots, sea boot socks, as dear old Henry Ford said, BLACK. But I do have a white open face helmet, a Bell of unknown vintage. Apart from one major wipe out that was entirely my fault, I was pissed and stoned at the same time, nothing in over 45 years of riding on most of the continents of the world.

BMW bikes do nothing for me, never wanted one and unlikely to ever consider buying one..................... All of us are different and that is what makes the world go round.
