Hi guys, yes it is the Sprint. Thing was the tyre was going down fast so couldnt ride it far and the bike shop is close to my garage, always said I wouldnt use them as they are expensive but needs must. He offered me a Bridgestone for 70 something quid but I have Angel GTs on and wanted a matching pair.
All done now just gotta run it in .

Yesterday after messing about putting original exhaust back on took bike for its first MOT.Well it passed not that expected any different.Although the test was down to dealer not putting new mot on when I bought bike.I did ask about leaving my SP engineering can on and he would have failed it even with the baffle in!even though has BS markings.Next year if its not registered in Spain I need to find a slightly more lenient tester don't want to keep swapping exhaust over each year.

Took Hugh in for his first year's service. Now I'm sure that Bruce on the parts/service desk said I had the Scrambler booked out to me for the morning so I was a bit shocked when he showed me over the Stripple R that was parked beside it. My god - what a hoot to ride!! After a bite to eat at H Caff (mistake, the food is utter shite) I set off for two hours of extended test riding around Oxfordshire. My wrists were pleased when we got back to the dealers as it's not the style of bike I'd choose normally but that engine is such a peach. I'm not surprised they sell so well.

It was good to get back on Hugh afterwards. The seat is WAY more comfy than the R, they'd adjusted the chain and added a revised map and I have to say the ride home was a treat - so smooth and the pickup was a bit crisper too. I missed the howl from the Tripple but I'm happy with my burbbly twin at the end of the day.

Put the rear footrests back on as I’m supposed to be taking a friends twin thirteen year old sons out for a ride this afternoon :)
Don’t worry I’ll take them one at a time :p

Had a pop down Whitby for a coffee (free cos the whistle stop was shutting ) was nice but a bit chilly, the ride was lovely but I did get that horrid feeling it may be Rosie rs last ride out, left me feeling a bit sad really.
On another note I've been using Tescos/BP high octane jungle juice, by heck the difference Good fuel makes on that bike is absolutely unreal.

I lived two miles from Montignac for 14 months in a watermill. The little hamlet
is called Valojoulx. If you are in the area again call in and say hello to Madam
Jacqueline Monrebot for me. And you are right, great roads, great area. Did
you visit the cave dwellers at les eyzies?

We were staying at a campsite just north of Le Bugue.
Funnily enough did a circuit that headed out to Bergerac, Le Buisson De Cadioun, then Sarlat for lunch and past Montignac on the way back, a real mix of roads

Yes , we will be returning , next june probably. We visited roque st christophe and several other attractions but we didnt do lascaux because we have a dog and they arent allowed . Ironic as it was a dog that discovered them ! . Cheers .

Stayed at Le Paradis a few times, it's not bad but prefer St Avits. La Palombiere, just outside Sarlat is quite nice as well.
We were considering Limeuil for next year possibly :)

It is a pity you will not be allowed into the real lascaux caves as they are off limits, or they were when i was there. Its a mock up we get to see. Our depot was very close to the caves. If you go, a canoe paddle down the Vezere is a must through some fantastic scenery.
