I love the single track roads - usually less traffic, and up there gorgeous scenery.

Tongue to Lairg is a ball ache its a fact. Ballachulish Bridge, on Dougs photo, the middle one, shows the road we took last year just out of Oban.

Just to let everyone know i have finally booked all your accomodation for every night, three of the guys are organizing their own accomodation and @Vulpes you are booked in for Monday night through to Thursday night

Sunday you are in the by the way hostel in Tyndrum,it is £20.00 and you pay on arrival.

Monday you are in the Corran Bunkhouse it is £27.50 and you pay on arrival.

Tuesday you are in the Skye basecamp hostel in Broadford it is £25.00 and i think it is due 4 weeks prior but i'll have to confirm this.

Wednesday you are in the Gairloch hotel (twin room) it is £42.50 per person that includes breakfast you pay on arrival

Thursday you are in the Caledonian Hotel (twin room) and it is £35.00 per person that includes breakfast you pay on arrival

Friday you are in the Hostel in Braemar and the price is £23.20 i had to pay this now so for those that havn't payed me i have sent you a PM with details on how to do this

    Saturday
you are in the Dakota Hotel in South Queensferry (twin room) it is £60.00 per person that includes breakfast i have to pay it a fortnight before we arrive so neare the time i will remind you to pay me!
@BonnieCat and @ElectrAbigail at the hostels in Skye you might be slightly more as he doesn't have a twin room only a triple, the guy has not been back in touch with me yet to confirm a price but i'll let you know as soon as i know

It has been a bit of a challenge regarding accomodation Andy:tired_face: The hostel in Ullapool was unfortunatly full, and i was struggling to find anywhere with enough twin rooms,The Caledonian Hotel is in need of renovation..according to trip advisor:confounded::rolleyes: but for £35.00 per person it's not bad and it is just for one night!..at least if i tell you this you won't be dissapionted;)

    Dougie,
Is that route down to Braemar via the B road that joins the Deeside route at Crathie? If so, a cracking little excursion of more nadgery stuff.
