Top right of your home forum page click settings You will then see the option to edit avatar, click it You can use a stock avatar using option 1 but I would click option 2 to upload your own picture Once you have clicked option 2 you need to click browse which will allow you to browse your computer hard drive for a picture or use a Dropbox image or an image from a photo sharing website. Once you have that image uploaded just update and your there.
Rules were much more relaxed years back, had my Yam FS1E at 16 rode it flat out everywhere, at 17 an XS 250 on L plates then a RD 250LC, both of which I rode like an idiot. With no training what so ever I took my test and amazingly past. Looking back I'm probably lucky to be alive, so many lads in the early 80's were crashing on these super quick two stroke 250's no wonder they changed the law.
The quick and the unlucky I call it. I had biking "comrades" that I just new and met in the centre of town. When you met up you all talked about who wasn't there as they'd either crashed and were maimed or died. Amazing camaraderie back in the 80's if you had a 125 or 250. Very exciting times. IMHO. I miss that but find solitude later in life at chatting at bike gatherings. Yes I have a stubbly beard and drink stout and am nearer 50 than I'd like to be. But I'm hanging in there crippled and hunched over my 2002 Daytona 955i....:upyeah: Never fallen off, crashed or dropped my bikes. Yet. 4 years ago I took my Red Benelli..... http://youtu.be/b_vqturynRg I never went over 60... http://youtu.be/d9GOuRCZIsI
Hi, glad you are enjoying the bike and have taken onboard the advice. I lost a good mate 15 years ago when he went straight through a hedge for an apparent reason. He was experienced and careful so ignore anyone who says advanced training is dull and a waste of time the poster is an idiot. You will learn better handling of the bike and vastly improve your observation and analysis skills these skills will help to keep you safe
