Meant can you pick mine up??
No doubt it’ll been used by now on the crevices of some old German woman for free by a slippery hotel maid who forgot to handit in....

Why don't you email the hotel ?
If by some miracle they've got it I'll bring it back.

97D86BAB-6E42-4ABD-AE9D-6717579004D9.jpeg On another note... me and Waynetta (@Havit), bumped into this stall selling freshly pressed grape juice, €3 per bottle which was a litre. The guy said it needed drinking within a couple of days...
Both leaked in the side panniers immediatly but mine survived the trip home, I now have ‘mosel’ valley quality wine as all the sweetness has gone and wine has appeared! Not sure to how much alcohol is in it but it’s like dry white wine with yeast at the base and who cares anyway

Federweisser: that‘s young wine, still with a light sparkle (the fermentation just started). Not harmless at all! And definetely not just grape‘s juice... ;)
And it moves your bowels. No doubt! o_O

(engl. translation I found is: spring white)

Genuine Mosel quality wine is probably less than €3.00 a bottle! :D

Eric doesn't spend money willy nilly. For example while me and Dave @Tiglet where forking out for expensive meals on the ferry home Eric just had a starter as he was stuffed full of ham and cheese butties that he'd made during breakfast at the Park Hotel. You can take Eric out of Yorkshire but you can't take the Yorkshire out of Eric @Tigcraft

    Frugal is the word,
I’ll let you know I’m not motivated by expense,
Owt f’ nawt or ‘can I get this cheaper another way?’
Or ‘I can get a full sheep for the price of that schnitzel you’ve just bought!!’
Don’t even ask what I pay for my bikes!!

Eric, I am really glad that you were able to secure such a huge financial advantage at the restaurant NEXT DOOR while we all had Schnitzels for about 13,50£ on our last night’s dinner; because we really MISSED you both. And I mean it.
Next time I come to GB, I need some survival training with you as my guide for I have not yet been able to acquire a mediocre sandwich & chips for that price in an average countryside pub over there...
    :pensive:

PS: The above text and menu print out (even though real and not faked) are spiced with irony and sarcasm and not meant to insult or harm all the great venues that serve food at a decent price in GB!
The point, I intended to make, was a different one. If it got lost, that’s just as well since it is of no importance to the gorgeous food served all around the world... ;)
